My first impression of these earbuds was great. OK, they were indeed very light and looked kinda cheap, but I was quite impressed with the sound quality for its price. In my opinion, the JBuds sound quality is much better than the standard iPod earphones, for example.

However, the honeymoon did not last long. 3 weeks after I got them, the JBuds stopped working. It seems part of the cable is broken, so now only the left side works. This probably has to do with the fact that, because the cable is too long, I often had to squeeze part of it into my pocket. So, since it's a little tight, the cable might have broken somewhere. But, again, this only happened because the cable is: 1) too long, and 2) too weak. This never happened to any of the other earphones I had (including iPod earbuds and other cheap Philips and Aiwa models), so I find it to be unacceptable.

I've had these for about 6m now and I really do like them. I run in them and use them at work. The cord is short enough to run in without falling out, but I do have to be careful not to lean back to far in my chair at work (my setups fault). The only problem I ever have is loosing the tips. They fall off (might be my fault too) and are impossible to find. Other than that I love the headphones.

I purchased these jbuds about 2 years ago. I was pleased with the comfort and fit. Unfortunately, one of the ears stopped working recently. However, I believe that for $10 they are worth having for a few years, especially because of the fit. I just ordered another pair. Also, I am a rough user - these headphones stay in my purse all the time and sometimes get stretched when I drop my mp3 player. Therefore, overall, I think they are a good value.

I decided to buy JBuds about a month and a half ago, in order to block out my roommate as she practiced her oral and aural skills. They did a decent job at keeping out all of her mid-range singing, especially if I turned up the volume fairly high (of course). I didn't, however, need to up the volume in order to get fair quality sound. In fact, with my Jbuds I can hear my music with pretty good definition at low volumes, which is nice now that my roommate has moved out and things are quieter. Unfortunately, I'm suddenly having problems with the point where the cord meets the plug, and can only use these headphones when the cord is in a particular orientation and I'm not moving. Although I'm a bit clumsy, and can be a little rough on my headphones, I don't recall doing anything recently that could have caused this, nor have I ever had a pair of headphones that had such a weak cord. Hopefully I can contact the company and maybe get another pair. I just got my iPod fixed a few days ago (which broke right after I got these headphones), so it'd be rather problematic not to have working headphones to go with my now working iPod.

For the price especially, these are a great buy! Comfortable and good sound quality... though they can feel suctioned into the ear after a while...
